A Night of Impact Led by Northcott Neighborhood House, the Freedom Ball has empowered Milwaukee's young Black leaders for more than three decades. Thanks to your support: We continue to uphold our mission of equitable access to higher education, community leadership, and cultural celebration. To date, more than 115 scholarships have been awarded, with 16 student recipients each year through the Miss & Mister Juneteenth Scholarship Program. This year's ball proudly recognized the journeys of Miss Juneteenth 2025 Sydney Purifoy-Mahone, Mister Juneteenth Kamari Murray, Little Miss Juneteenth Lyric Kendrick, and Mister Juneteenth Junior Matteo Cooks. Community Celebration Over 34 years, this event has grown into a signature celebration that uplifts, honors, and supports Milwaukee’s brightest young voices. Your contributions helped raise critical funds to sustain and expand the opportunities available through Northcott’s programs.
